Latest Melbourne Storm SG Ball(Under 18) news:
The Melbourne Storm SG Ball team are now just 3 weeks away from the start of the 2012 season. The players have returned from a short break over Christmas and are now entering a very busy and intense period in the build-up to the first competition game.
Next week the top 26 players will head down to the Surf Coast for their annual camp at the fantastic YMCA facility in Anglesea. The group will spend 3 days together before returning to Melbourne in preparation for their first official trial match against the Riverina Academy in Albury on Saturday January 28. This will be followed by their final hit-out against the WA Reds SG Ball squad at Cross Keys Reserve in Essendon at 11:30am (note changed time from 10.00am) on Wednesday January 1.
The 26 named players participating in the Anglesea camp are listed below. There are also 5-6 players from the Storm’s NYC squad at present training with the Under 20', who will join this group for the trial matches and the beginning of the SG Ball season.
